I follow a group of photographers on FB. This guy, Gus, popped up not long ago. I just loved the photo, photographer, Michelle Shively Chenier. I contacted Michelle to ask if I could paint Gus. She was happy to let me do that.
She mentioned he's 5 months old, a couple months older than my girl. Michelle said he's quite the handful. She's got 2 more dogs, a couple of young children and a husband. Amazing she finds the time to take such great photos.
Well, Gus sure looks tuckered out. Those big ol' paws and one tired eye open. What a cutie!
